Let’s go back to a project of decluttering, optimizing and tidying a large cellar. Discover here the objectives of this mission:
– get rid of stuff that has been unused for years and is cluttering up the cellar;
– optimize the cellar storage in order to easily find your stuff;
– to have the pleasure of entering the cellar and not to feel invaded by a heap of things that clutter the place and the mind.
A first diagnostic visit is made on the spot in order to understand and take stock of the objectives. I also take the opportunity to take pictures of the current state and some measurements in order to prepare an offer adapted to the quantity of stuff.

The missions of home organizing can be realized with or without my clients. It is a choice that is made during our first meeting at the diagnostic visit. In this particular case, I carried out the entire mission without them. However, we plan a moment together during the sorting of the things in order to decide what must be cleared or kept.

Before my intervention, the space available in the cellar was poorly used and many things were on the floor. A tip: use sturdy shelves and cabinets to store your stuff. Group items by category and store them inside clear storage boxes for easy retrieval. Storage boxes are ideal for storing and organizing small hardware. Stackable, they maximize shelf space.
Good organization is the key to success!
Use hooks to hang certain items on the wall, this will free up floor space and allow you to quickly get your hands on things you use often.
