At the heart of my recent assignment as Home Organiser, I was faced with the exciting task of transforming a playroom which, although charming, had become a maze with limited access to toys for the children. My objective was clear: to create an environment conducive to play, learning and storage, while making toys easily accessible.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The first crucial step was to meticulously sort the toys. Toys in good condition but often inaccessible were identified for reorganization, while those in excess found new life through donations to the “Solidarit\u00e9 Jouets” association in Lausanne.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Maximizing the use of pull-out baskets in an Ikea cabinet<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In re-evaluating the play area, we chose to maximize the use of an Ikea cabinet fitted with pull-out baskets. This rearrangement, combined with the removal of a shelf that limited access, has metamorphosed the room into a place where every toy can be easily identified and effortlessly reached. Pull-out baskets, already present in the cabinet, were the ideal solution for simple, efficient organization. Simple labels add the finishing touch, allowing children to quickly locate their favorite toys, while the removal of the shelf above allowed the addition of a toy tier, further facilitating access and visibility.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
